Abstract

Oil palm growth is susceptible to disease attacks, one of which is stem rot (BPB), which can cause the death of up to 80% of the oil palm population and reduce production per unit area. Ganoderma diversity is indispensable as a basis for effective control. The purpose of this study is to study the distribution of Ganoderma spp. on oil palm plants in Mukomuko Regency based on the diversity of fruit bodies. The survey was conducted in five sub-districts, each covering five villages, by observing the symptoms of Ganoderma in smallholder plantations. Sampling was carried out by the purposive sampling method, and data was collected through field observation and secondary data collection. The results of the study showed the existence of Ganoderma fruit bodies in five sub-districts with variations in environmental conditions, Ganoderma grew optimally in an environment with moisture, soil pH, temperature and supportive weeds.
